Recent research have led us to take a more holistic approach to Sports Therapy. We focus primarily on 3 things:
- Optimal performance: Physical performance depends upon all energy producing components of the body working together in perfect harmony. This includes muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia. Energy (and movement) in the body is dependent upon tissue / fibres gliding accross each other ie. movement. If body tissue cannot move, energy production is limited. Any muscles or fascia with knots or thickness, will limit movement. Our Sports therapy is aimed at optimizing all elements of movement to create maximum energy / power.
- Optimal conditioning: Our Sports Therapy is injury preventative in nature. Through maximizing the flexibility and agility of muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia throughout the body, one can prevent injuries.
- Optimal Rehabilitation: After injuries or medical interventions, the body suffers to adjust and regain full performance potential. Our Sports Therapy is a holistic approach to recovery and rehabilitation, taking into account all the affected components of movement and body parts and not only the injured muscle or tendon only. This leads to rapid, full potential recovery with limited potential of follow-up injuries.
